Nominations have now opened for the inaugural Herbert Youth Advisory Committee.

This is an opportunity for me to receive feedback directly from the young people of Townsville. The committee will provide input on the challenges and opportunities that young people are experiencing, with the aim of improving our city for residents of all ages.

The committee will meet throughout the year, with meetings to take place in my office at 340 Ross River Road, Cranbrook.

Applicant Eligibility

To be eligible for the Youth Advisory Committee, applicants must:

Be aged between 17-24 years
Reside in the Herbert electorate
